on january 23, the china construction industry association issued a notice on the announcement of the results of the 8th construction engineering bim competition (construction industry association [2024] no.2). mcc group achieved excellent results, winning a total of 13 first-class achievement awards, 12 second-class achievement awards, and 21 third class achievement awards (including 5 first-class achievement awards and 3 second-class achievement awards recommended by mcc). the number and quality of awards have reached a new high, ranking among the top central enterprises in the construction industry, which indicates that mcc has achieved new results in the high-quality development of the bim technology application.
as the bim competition with the highest level of bim technology application in china, the china construction engineering bim competition sponsored by the china construction industry association has been unanimously recognized and highly praised by the industry and society, and the results of the competition fully demonstrated the highest application level and cutting-edge development direction of bim technology in china.
there are 13 achievements such as "digital integrated application of palaeozoological museum of china project construction phase" jointly completed by central research institute of building and construction of mcc and china mcc22, the "bim comprehensive application of the whole life cycle of magang new special steel project continuous casting and rolling engineering" jointly completed by ceri and shanghai baoye, the "bim digital innovative application of kunming steel comprehensive raw material field engineering" by cie, the "bim digital construction comprehensive application of huzhou sun hotel project" by china mcc5, the "intelligent construction and innovative application of the expansion and renovation project of qingshuiyi to zhonghe section of g30 lianyungang–khorgos expressway based on bim gis" by china mcc17, the "construction of a digital chemical plant based on bim technology in linyi iron and steel base" jointly completed by china mcc22, ceri, and mcc tiangong, the "comprehensive application of bim technology in the kuwait medical insurance hospital project" by shanghai baoye, and the "integrated application of bim digital twin technology in the design and construction of phase ii of the guangming district central hospital extension project" by cisdi, have won the first-class achievement award for "bim technology integration".
wisdri, china mcc17, china mcc20, china mcc22, shanghai baoye, cfmcc, china mcc5, mcc tiangong, and cisdi won the second class achievement award and the third class achievement award respectively.
in addition, in 2023, mcc won 5 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 16 third prizes, and 20 excellent prizes in the 12th "longtu cup" of china graphics society. in the 13th "imagine cup" of the china engineering and consulting association, it won 1 special achievement, 7 first-class achievements, 10 second-class achievements, and 11 third-class achievements. in the 4th bim competition of engineering construction industry of cacem, it won 6 first-class achievements, 14 second-class achievements, and 34 third-class achievements.
