on december 24, china association of construction enterprise management held the 2022−2023 national quality engineering award summary and commendation conference in beijing, and commended 596 domestic projects and 51 overseas projects. 53 mcc projects were awarded 2022−2023 national quality engineering award, including 6 out of 36 domestic gold awards and 4 out of overseas project awards, reaching a record high in terms of the total awards, the number of awards for constructed projects and the number of gold-awarded projects. a total of 318 projects have been awarded.
quality is the foundation of development, the initiative to people's benefit, and the strategy for strengthening the country. adhering to the quality idea of striving for perfection, mcc is committed to build a number of excellent projects with industry influence and social reputation. the projects awarded this time cover many industries, such as metallurgical industry, non-ferrous metal industry, architecture, municipal administration and highway, and sections such as construction, investigation, design and supervision, highlighting the comprehensive construction power of mcc in metallurgy construction, capital construction, emerging industries, and other fields and sections.
by 2023, the projects constructed by mcc has been awarded national quality engineering gold award for five consecutive years, and the universal beijing resort project (phase i) is the first project constructed by the mcc that was awarded non-industrial national quality engineering gold award. this project was contracted and declared by china jingye engineering and contracted by shanghai baoye, with the participation of mcc tiangong and china mcc22, which represents the leading level in the field of china theme park construction. in 2022, the 900,000 t green hydropower aluminum integration project of yunnan shenhuo aluminum industry co., ltd. was awarded the first national quality engineering gold award in non-ferrous metal industry in china, and the cbd core area z15 block project (citic tower) of chaoyang district in beijing supervised by central research institute of building and construction co., ltd. mcc group was the first project that was awarded the national quality engineering gold award for high-rise building with the participation of mcc.

the project is located in the laoting economic development area of tangshan city, hebei province, with a designed annual output of 7.32 million tons of cast iron, 7.47 million tons of steel, and 7.1 million tons of materials. aiming at "green, intellectual and branding", adopting the idea of "dynamic accurate design of steel plant", adhering to the requirement of "world's most clean steel plant" and sticking to the high-quality development driven by scientific and technological innovation, the project has made breakthroughs in terms of production process, high-end equipment and green intelligence etc., established several first (set) demonstration projects, and realized the ultra-low emission of whole plant, reaching an international advanced level of overall design.

2. 900,000 t green hydropower aluminum integration project of yunnan shenhuo aluminum industry co., ltd.
the project is located in funing county, wenshan zhuang and miao autonomous prefecture, yunnan province, and is the key livelihood project introduced by supreme people's procuratorate to help relieve funing from poverty, and the "double hundred" project in yunnan, which is listed in the china western development category and is the biggest electrolytic aluminum project in china with one-time design and continuous operation. adhering to the construction idea of "green, low-carbon, clean and sustainable", the project uses the mature and leading new generation of large pre-baked anode electrolytic cell series, and has built the first new "5g plus" smart plant of green hydropower aluminum in the industry.

3. cbd core area z15 block project (citic tower) of chaoyang district in beijing
the project is located in the cbd core area of chaoyang district in beijing, with a total floor area of 437,000 square meters, including 350,000 square meters above ground and 87,000 square meters underground. the building is 528 meters high, with 108 floors above ground and 7 underground, and integrates first-class office, conference, business, sightseeing and several supporting service functions, which is the highest in beijing. the building shape is designed after the ancient ritual vessel "zun". the structure form above ground is the jumbo frame concrete core-tube structure system, consuming about 120,000 tons of steel in total.

4. universal beijing resort project (phase i)
the project is located in tongzhou district in beijing, covering an area of 1,600,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 660,100 square meters, which is the fifth global theme park in the world and the third in asia. it consists of landscape project, 7 characteristic theme scenic areas, and 6 auxiliary projects. scenic area of "hollywood" and "transformer" are built and contracted respectively by china jingye and shanghai baoye. the "hollywood" theme area has a total land area of 9.27 hectares, and a total construction area of about 34,000 square meters, with a total of 14 subprojects. the "transformers" theme area consists of 11 individual buildings and outdoor landscapes, with a total construction area of about 20,000 square meters and a land area of about 60,000 square meters. since opening, the project has received over 10 million person-time of tourists, becoming a new platform for facilitating international culture exchange and displaying chinese cultural connotation.

the project is located in quanzhou city, fujian province, covering an area of about 436 hectares, and is the key project of china's petrochemical industry planning and layout scheme. the project expands its oil refining scale from 12 million t/year to 15 million t/year, and newly built the project of 1,000,000 t/year ethylene (including 800,000 t/year paraxylene) and 60 relevant units of ancillary storage and transportation, dock, utility facilities, etc.
